Clocktower Square

Clocktower Square is a 5.9-acre Class A office park located in Palo Alto. It is conveniently situated near a Caltrain station and a Marguerite shuttle stop. The main goal of the project was to refresh the landscape and courtyard to improve accessibility across the campus and to enhance the community setting. Key features include two new custom bridges, a custom gazebo, furnished patios, and new site lighting to help create comfortable gathering spots around the campus’ naturalistic pools.

Sims Metal

Sims Metal is a vehicle processing facility in San Jose that recently received approval for a special use permit to allow the site to receive obsolete vehicles, safely decommission them and prepare them for shipment to Sims’ shredding facility in Redwood City. With the ability to process vehicles at the San Jose location, Vehicle Miles of Travel (VMTs) is significantly reduced with more processed cars fitting on each shipment. The resulting trip reduction is a win for the environment with a reduction in emission pollutants.

Parkside Towers

Located in Foster City, Parkside Towers is a .57 acre market ready project that includes updating the plaza space in front of the 1051 East Hillsdale Boulevard property. The project began with gaining planning approval through to construction document approval. Updates include enhanced hardscape, overhead structures, synthetic lawn areas, new site furnishings, and updated landscape and irrigation.
Some of the amenities include shade structures, a variety of seating options, updated paving, drought tolerant planting palette, and irrigation improvements.

Creekside @ 17

Located in Campbell, the 4.08 acre multi-tenant Class A office building was transformed to meet the needs of current tenant requirements. With a high profile location and excellent freeway visibility on Highway 17, the market-ready project achieved LEED Silver BD+C while creating a more sustainable landscape that offers an engaging outdoor amenity area, clear paths of travel, drought tolerant planting, corten steel raised planter beds with olive trees, and outdoor collaboration spaces.

North First Corporate Center

North First Corporate Center is a 15-acre, commercial tenant improvement project located in San Jose. HMH is tasked with creating a modern, functional campus for the various companies located at North First Corporate Center. With the addition of outdoor amenity areas and a BBQ, the space encourages social interaction and outdoor activity.

Mount Diablo Plaza

Located in Walnut Creek, the 3.25 acre Mount Diablo Plaza commercial project had a primary goal of repairing an existing podium courtyard that was between two large commercial properties. In addition, the client was also looking for an updated modern aesthetic to match the expectations of a contemporary Class A office space as the previous site had lacked any identifiable features.
A few key features of the project included unique planter elements with a combination of concrete, weathering steel, and steel I-beam vine panels, custom furniture design, and preservation of an existing central art element.

Stevens Creek Promenade

Located in San Jose, this 10-acre project is part of Fortbay’s visionary Urban Village Mixed-Use Signature Project as defined in San Jose’s Envision 2040 General Plan and the recently adopted Stevens Creek Urban Village Plan. The project is a mixed-use transit-oriented development that includes approximately 233,000 SF of Class A office/R&D space, 10,000 SF of retail, and approximately 110.5 units per acre housing while also addressing the requirements and objectives of a Mixed-Use Signature Project. The site is a significant milestone for Silicon Valley because it will provide additional jobs, both market rate and affordable housing, shopping, and interactive open public spaces while being integrated into the City of San Jose’s vision for multi-modal transportation infrastructure in the corridor that will improve the movement of people and vehicles.
In addition to the housing, job opportunities, and transportation benefits, the project will also be designed to the latest energy and water efficiency standards while implementing drought-tolerant landscape features throughout the site.

Tamien Station

Located in San Jose, this 6.9-acre project is a mixed-use transit-oriented development that includes affordable housing, market-rate housing, and commercial retailer space. The site is located near the Tamien VTA Light Rail and Caltrain stations as well as being located close to downtown San Jose. In addition, the site will include parking for VTA and Caltrain customers.
