Bay 101 Card Club

Bay 101 Card Club is a destination place where guests can “work, stay and play”. The Card Club is the first completed project on this multi phased site. It has a new restaurant, roof deck, exterior patio and incorporates the latest gaming technology. Future projects on this 16.7 acre site includes an office tower, two hotels and a parking garage.
As a way to improve the overall customer experience, one of the important elements in the design of the Card Club was to have Master Yau, a Feng Shui consultant, make recommendations to the layout in order to enhance the customer’s luck. One of Mr. Yau’s recently completed projects include the Bellagio in Las Vegas.

Club Auto Sport

Working with Borelli Investment Company and AAI Architects, HMH completed entitlement, civil engineering, landscape architecture and surveying tasks for this adaptive re-use project in North San Jose. This project made use of a vacant 90,000 square foot industrial building and new construction of approximately 28,500 square feet to create a “one of a kind” project. This unique project provides a secured, controlled environment for storing vintage and exotic automobiles. This storage facility is a condominium development that allows separate ownership of a storage unit and also includes a private club membership for auto related events and social gatherings. HMH provided guidance through the development review process, designed a complete rehabilitation of the site’s landscape, completed on site and off site engineering plans and provided construction staking.

Graniterock Design Center

HMH worked with Graniterock on the renovation of an old commercial site to make it a showcase project for their rock and landscape materials sales. The parking lot was renovated to include multiple landscape displays incorporating various types of stone. Amenities included an outdoor kitchen, sitting areas with wood arbors, an outdoor fireplace and a water feature.

Beshoff Motors Infinity

The project is located in East San Jose on the corner of East Capitol Expressway and Tully Road. Frontage improvements required processing with both the City of San Jose and the County of Santa Clara. The formerly vacant parcel is bisected by major gas transmission mains which required coordination with Pacific Gas and Electric Company. HMH worked with the architect and the client to bring an upscale Infinity automotive dealership to the east San Jose area. A row of palm trees add vertical interest and visibility into the site and low accent plantings accentuate the architecture of the sales office and showroom.

75 Trimble

MWest completed this Market Ready project at 75 East Trimble Road in San Jose in 2013. Major exterior and interior renovations of this 96,000 sq. ft. building were done by Modulus Architects. As part of the design team HMH provided Landscape Architecture, Land Surveying, Construction Staking and Construction Administration services for the project. This project, in the heart of Silicon Valley, is in an ideal location close to light rail and retail amenities. Outdoor amenities included an outdoor kitchen and bocce court.

Nimble Storage River Oaks Parkway

Market ready remodel for the Bixby Land Company, an Irvine based company. Three buildings were remodeled and the central courtyard was removed and designed to connect the main entries. New concrete, planting, accent walls and outdoor eating amenities were installed to provide the tenant a campus environment. Some of the unique features installed were field grown olives, white Ardex finished walls and a decomposed granite eating cafe.

Campbell Retail

HMH worked with Imwalle Properties on the renovation of the old Odd Fellows hall located at 276 E. Campbell Ave. The renovation and expansion took the existing 5,400-square-foot building and changed it into 10,400 square feet of prime retail space. The project was an infill challenge with tight conforms on all four sides but the results make for a vibrant and active retail space. Currently three tenants occupy the space; Opa, a local Greek chain; Mo’s a breakfast restaurant, and Williard Hick’s, an elevated steakhouse. One exceptional amenity for the project is the outdoor dining plaza along Campbell Avenue. This festoon lit area brings life to the corner and serves as a great destination spot in the center of downtown.
