Equinix SV10/11 Colocation, Great Oaks Boulevard

This project included obtaining a Planned Development Permit and construction documents for development of a vacant site to accommodate two 2-story buildings of 191,000 square feet in Phase 1 (SV10) and 155,000 square feet in Phase 2 (SV11). The SV10 portion of the site was completed in September 2017. Construction of the SV11 building and site improvements is in process with completion of construction anticipated in Summer 2021. The project accommodates approximately 3,000 data cabinets in six data halls. The data halls are conditioned by forty-two indirect evaporative cooling units. Seven generators are located external to the electrical rooms and provide twenty-one megawatts of back-up power. The SV11 project included coordination with PG&E for the undergrounding of existing overhead electrical lines and relocation of the on site main electrical feed to the SV5 data center.
