Westbury

The Westbury development in South San Jose is a suburban infill project consisting of 86 single-family detached residences on approximately 7 ½ acres. It presented several stormwater management challenges during the design phases of the project.  HMH successfully integrated LID treatment measures and Hydromodification Management facilities with front yard landscaping and common open space amenities to achieve regulatory compliance for the project.  Rain garden-style biotreatment cells are used for the treatment of roof runoff, while the installation of below-ground modular storage chambers beneath the pocket parks provides the required flow control for the project.
